The Kress KR281E is satellite guided robotic lawnmower with a 4 wheel drive system for gardens up to 1500 sqm that uses the Kress EyePilot system. The unique EyePilot system allows for AI powered navigation that looks ahead to see and identify obstacles and respond appropriately to what's ahead. The KR281E also features the Kress ZeroTrim which uses a secondary side blade to trim within 2cm of the edge

Kress 4-wheel drive conquers up to 83.9% / 40° slopes with ease, ensuring a reliable mowing even on the steepest terrain. It also delivers precise lateral stripes on steep slopes without slipping.

Installation
The KR281E can be installed using its built in AI system or by remote control via the smartphone app. Alternatively we offer a professional installation service by one of our trained technicians which includes full set up and programming along with a handover with full usage instructions. (Please note this is only available to NI based customers)

Large shadows often block satellite signals and reduce accuracy in RTK-based mowers. Kress EyePilot® goes further — powered by V-SLAM and advanced AI algorithms, it maintains centimetre- level precision under any cover.
When moving from open areas into shadow, RTK satellite signals weaken. EyePilot® seamlessly activates the AI-powered V-SLAM navigation, processing 10 images per second to interpret the environment and pinpoint its position. Leveraging visual data, it maintains centimetre-level positioning even without RTK signals — ensuring precise mowing performance in shaded areas.
Charging station freedom – even in a garden tool shed
Unlike other RTK-based mowers that require open, obstruction-free areas, EyePilot ® V-slam + AI fusion allows you to place the charging station anywhere — even inside a tool shed, as long as it is Wi-Fi covered. No sky-view constraints, no magnetic stripes needed.
